| Itinerary |
| Day1 |
Pick up from any Central Bangkok hotel at approximately 07.00-07.30 and transfer to the pier to join the Thanatharee at Wat Chalerm Phra Kiat. Set off for Ko Kred, an isle in the middle of the Chao Phraya River. Explore the Mon pottery-making village on the isle before continuing to lively Pathum Thani market where a great variety of fresh meats, vegetables and other local produce is sold. While lunch is served on the way, head upriver to the tranquil Maenam Noi, a small branch of the main Chao Phraya River. Arrive at the village of Ban Chang Noi at approximately 18:00, tie up for the night and enjoy dinner on board.

| Day2 |
In the morning offer food to the monks on their morning alms round and after breakfast take a cycle ride to explore Ban Chang Noi and then depart for Wat Taku. Set off again by bicycle to explore the villages along the Maenam Noi to see the day-to-day life of the villagers. Rejoin the barge at Wat Kophai and continue to Bang Sadej. By bicycle visit this famous temple and the local orphanage where, mainly, hill-tribe children receive an education and vocational training. Explore the village and meet the local people and see the cottage industries they engage in and then depart to Pamok. Moor at Wat Sawang Arom near Pamok. Dinner on board.

| Day3 |
In the morning offer food to the monks on their morning alms round. After breakfast visit the lively morning market, the village school and a local family that makes drums. Then depart for Ayutthaya, Thailand’s former capital (1350-1767) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive at Ayutthaya pier (Wat Prasat) at approximately at 12.00. Disembark ready to set off to the next destination.
End of services.

- On Day 3 a transfer from Ayutthaya to Bangkok with a visit to the ruins of Ayutthaya Historical Park can be arranged for a supplementary charge. Bicycle tours of the area are also available.
- Variations in the itinerary may be necessary due to tide and local conditions, particularly during the months around September-November when it may not be possible to use the Maenam Noi, in which case the itinerary will follow the main Chao Phraya River but the general concept of the trip will not be affected.
